Discover the power of nature - three time over - on this hiking trail of cascading waterfalls at Faial da Terra! Our journey starts through the south coast road and returns along the north coast, in order to take in the most of these scenic coastal routes. This unique experience will take you to three stunning waterfalls, the "Salto do Prego", "Salto do Cagarrão" and "Ribeira dos Caldeirões". Along the way, you will be surrounded by lush flora and fauna, characteristic of this idyllic region, one of the most appreciated by hiking enthusiasts. During our hike we will enjoy a relaxing picnic time with traditional local products. We will finish off this unique hike by passing through and taking in the sights of the forgotten village of Sanguinho. On the return way home, we will drive through the wildest area of the island and stop at perhaps the most iconic viewpoint in the Azores: the "Miradouro da Ponta da Solidão". We then continue to head through the North Coast and make a brief stop at one of the most beautiful natural parks on the island of São Miguel, the "Ribeira dos Caldeirões" Natural Park, where Mother Nature will surely greet you with open arms, along with its three beautiful waterfalls.
