Join us on an unforgettable sunset hiking adventure through one of Portugal’s Seven Natural Wonders – the breathtaking Sete Cidades volcanic region! On this trail we'll hike along panoramic paths surrounded by the island’s characteristic vegetation and take in incredible views, passing by the enchanting Lagoa do Canário, nestled in a dense forest of Japanese cedars. The highlight of the tour is the arrival at the Grota do Inferno, one of the island’s most iconic viewpoints, offering sweeping views of the crater and its lakes. To ensure the best visual experience, our guides will choose among three different sunset spots, depending on the weather and visibility conditions of the day. Whether you’re a nature lover, a photography enthusiast, or just looking for an exciting outdoor experience, this hiking tour is the perfect way to explore the volcanic wonders of Sete Cidades, a place filled with colourful lakes and legends. For an even more unforgettable experience, you can taste a local wine and cheese with great company! Expect a mix of dirt paths, slight inclines, and rewarding views at every turn. Important: This hike is offered exclusively during the summer months, when the weather is more stable and the sunset reaches its full splendour. Cancellation Policy
A 24 hours’ notice is required if you need to cancel or reschedule your Tour. Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the scheduled time are not eligible for a refund.
